Bank, one of the big four banks of Australia is “shaking up its management style” by rolling out a ‘Scaled Agile’ approach across its Australian division leveraging the operating model and practices adopted by technology companies and several IT teams of different corporations.
The method of organizing and delivering work – used by digital companies like Spotify and Google as well as financial institutions such as ING and ABN AMRO . ANZ believes the new ways of working will mean less hierarchies, bosses reorganized to work as coaches, siloed operational teams collaborating to work more like projects, cross division collaboration through tribes and squads and stronger alignment to customer outcomes fueled by improved productivity.
